Pavilion Project 2021/22

In 2021 our Roy-Al Pavilion was demolished due to the fact that it was past its sell by date and was no longer safe.  It was decided to demolish the pavilion and replace it with a new log cabin.  Three of our Committee members took on this task of producing plans, sourcing a suitable supplier and liasing with Havant Borough Council to gain permission for the replacement.  What initially was thought to be an easy task and straightforward replacement for the Roy-Al Pavilion actually turned out to be anything but.  Finally in January 2022 permission was granted by HBC to go ahead.  Here are a few photographs of the demolition which took place in 2021.

Commencement of the concrete base

Work commenced on 14th February 2022 with the concrete base being installed.  Here is some photos of the work being done.

Finally the delivery and installation of the new Log Cabin which took place on Wednesday 6th April 2022.
