Cowplain Hawks comprising Mike Hyland, Kevin Ford and Julie Page ran out as victors of this year's Arundel Castle Trophy, an annual tournament organised and hosted by Arundel Bowling Club. A broad spectrum of clubs entered from counties across the south of England. With the majority of entrants playing on lawn, the victory by Cowplain was a tremendous feat, with the final itself being aginst Goring Manor.

Cowplain entered three teams. as well as the 'Hawks', we also had the 'Kestrels' (Ron Richards, Robin and Sue Loscombe) and the 'Eagles' (Malcolm Brewer, Kim and Kevin Smith). As well as winning the overall tournament, our other two teams acquitted themselves very well and finished well up in their respective groups.

A massive THANK YOU to Ron Richards for organising the tournament and we look forward to defending the trophy in 2026!
